The Hunt is Over
Posted 23 August 2024 by Mike Harling
We have found a new Musical Director: Sharon Lewis, the MD of The Tone Rangers in the Brighton area, has agreed to take us on.
We are delighted to have her at the helm and look forward to her leading us into 2025.

Concert
Horsham Harmony performed at the YMCA on Gorings Mead on the hottest day of the year, but both choir and audience braved the heat and made the evening a success.
We sang in benefit of The Phoenix Stroke Club. Thanks to our audience for their generous donations, and a big thank you to all who participated in the raffle.

Our Christmas Concert in December 2023 was in aid of Know Dementia. We collected £250 to donate and, during our previous session, held the Check Presentation Ceremony at our new venue.
Behind the massive cheque you can see some of our new members, if they are not hiding behind someone. Our membership has grown this year but we are always ready to welcome more singers, especially if you are an alto, or a man.
We are already looking forward to our next concert, scheduled for sometime in July 2024.
We Have Moved
Posted 18th January 2024 by Mike Harling
After some consideration, and a majority vote from the members, we have moved venue from Blackbridge Lane to the Brighton Road Baptist Church at the corner of the Brighton Road (A281) and New Street.
There is limited parking at the church accessed via New Street, but Denne Road and Piries Place car parks are not far away, and it is a short walk from the town centre.
Hope to see you there.
The Christmas Concert…
…and what came before
Posted 4th January 2024 by Mike Harling
A bit late, but:
The Christmas Concert on the 16th of December 2023 was a huge success. It was our first major outing, and we enjoyed singing our Christmas repertoire to the eighty or so guests, and sharing mince pies, mulled wine, and a variety of other beverages with them.
The audience were very generous—with both the raffle and the donations—and helped us raise a respectable amount for our charity.
Prior to the concert, we had our Christmas Gathering at the Black Jug in Horsham. Nearly the whole choir attended, and we filled the room.
Our first, actual, outing was on the 6th of December, at Wakefield Court. They are a favourite with us, as they were the very first place we performed, back in 2017, and we have performed there nearly every Christmas season since.
At this time, we are looking forward to starting our 2024 season, on 10 January 2024, and hoping to add some new faces via our Come-and-Sing on the 31st of January.

After advertising the role of Musical Director, we are happy to have appointed Bethan Williams to take the choir forward. Bethan is an experienced musician and choral conductor, and you can read more about her on our Musical Director page.
Heading for our fourth year!
Posted 7th January 2020 by Pat Pigott
In April 2020 Horsham Harmony choir will be 4 years old. We are a friendly, caring, daytime choir & raise money for local charities from our twice-yearly concerts, Retirement home, Care home & local event performances.
It’s been quiet on our website since our musical director Rachel moved away to Suffolk in July 2018!
We were joined by Stuart our current MD in September 2018 & we have talked about updating the website but haven’t quite managed it yet!
So now that we have reached 2020 I thought I would make it a resolution & have a go!
Our new term starts on Wednesday 15th January 2020 same time, 11am —12.30pm same place, the Barn in the Causeway.
If you would like to join us, please just turn up! The first session is free & we are a friendly group of about 30 singers (including 6-10 men!) So, we do four part harmony, for some of our songs, in our varied repertoire.
